Dr. Dolce is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, fellowship trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy, who specializes in treating acute to chronic musculoskeletal conditions and injuries in patients from adolescence through adulthood. Dr. Dolce has served the DFW metroplex area for the past 6 years where he has earned a reputation as one of the area’s leading orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine specialists. Dr Dolce has been named Top Doctor in Fort Worth Magazine, 76092 magazine, 360West magazine and Super Doctor in Texas Monthly. With his physician assistant Kelley Menefee, PA-C, their goal is to provide a patient-focused experience for each visit (with small-town Texas hospitality), while utilizing advanced therapy and cutting-edge techniques.

Dr. Dolce was raised in San Antonio, where he swam and played water polo for John Marshall HS. He continued athletics through college and completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. He then attended the University of Texas Medical School at Houston (McGovern Medical School) before completing his orthopedic surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. After residency, he went on to complete a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at the Houston Methodist Hospital. While in Houston, he worked as an assistant team physician for the Houston Texans, Rockets, Astros, Dynamo, Rice University football and baseball, and the Houston Rodeo.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Dolce is committed to the community. Now serving the DFW area he has worked as a team physician for TCU athletics, and he is currently the team physician for Nolan Catholic High school, Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship (TCAF) and the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.

His past and current research interests include MLB pitching mechanics and their relation to injury risk, clinical ballet and biomechanical meniscal transplantation research. Dr. Dolce has multiple published research studies and is commited to education through lectures/conference presentations, preceptorships, student rotations, and community engagement.

Dr. Dolce lives in Southlake, TX with his wife, Dr. Alison Dolce, who is board certified in neurology with special qualification in child neurology as well as clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy. They are the proud parents of four children (two boys and two girls) named Braeden, Cade, Brynn and Austen. When Dr. Dolce is not at the office he is spending time with his family and enjoying activities such as football, golf, skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, and guitar.
